MSCS MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

 

The MSCS membership is open to people from all professions, who have demonstrated advance knowledge and commitment in their areas of work, and with interest in medical and social care matters. Membership is also open to all levels of people in community, who also have interests in medical and social care matters. 

 

To become a Member:

 

  • You should demonstrate that you have some knowledge of your chosen profession or possess qualification in a subject area or discipline for professional memberships.

 

  • Engage in your profession as an employee for a minimum of 12 months

 

 

      --- OR ---

 

  • Be a member of a community or public who has health and social care needs, and who also need aid, advice centre services or information resources in health and social care matters.

 

Who can be a member?

 

Members of MSCS are professionals in their own right and include, lawyers, teachers, doctors, nurses, all healthcare professionals and workers, students in various professional studies, public health practitioners, physiotherapists, psychotherapists, pharmacists, medical educators, healthcare administrators, healthcare managers, medical Informaticists, scientists, computer professionals, healthcare technicians, psychologists, sociologists, and medical organisations, national or international bodies committed to health care delivery and patient care, and all professions allied to medicine and everyone who works in healthcare organisations, including members of other professions.

 

Members can also be ordinary people in the community, who can be housewives, mothers, fathers, elderly people, retired people, students and anyone requiring information, aid and advice on access to health and social care services or resource for information on the subjects.

 

                                                                                                                        

CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP AND FEES

 

The Association has five categories of membership for which a fee is payable once a year starting from the anniversary of the date when your membership started:

The benefits of becoming a member of the MSCS are many and include the following:
