International Medical Conference with Joint Research and Education Meetings
Reforms and advances in research and innovations have been occurring in medical practice and education globally for the past decades. These have been as a result of advances in medical practice worldwide. In addition, patients have become more informed about their health, and these have resulted in increased in demands and expectations, thereby bringing about the changing roles of the doctors and healthcare workers in society. There are now needs for healthcare workers to be more involved in teaching and research, as well as in patient care. Hence the conference on ‘Progress in Medical Practice and education’ will embrace many topics on the various issues affecting medical practice, research and education. Please note that the programme above is the provisional programme and that the final programme of proceedings will be circulated in due course after we have processed, reviewed and allocated all accepted abstracts to presentation slots according to themes over the two days – 17 and 18 May 2024.

The conference attracts speakers from all branches of medicine and healthcare, including researchers and health workers that have carried out innovative work in various disciplines.
Accreditation:
The Conference and educational meetings are accredited by various professional bodies. So participants will receive attendance certificates, including Continuous Medial Education (CME) and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Certificates. The CME and CPD points are between 24 to 100 points depending on number of sessions attended.

The Joint SMC and IAHCP Conference Centre venue, Thurrock, Near London is handy for some of the UK's biggest shopping centres not to mention central London. The M25 is only a couple of miles away making it easy to reach tourist attractions and business venues. Guests and families can go into central London and Greater London to some must-see venues like Madame Tussauds or the London Eye, or shop in the West End or at Lakeside Shopping Centre (one mile away) or Bluewater shopping Centre (5 miles away) or Grays Town Centre (about three miles away). Arena Essex Raceway is easily accessed too from the hotel. Hence the hotel - venue offer easy access to London and is close to Brands Hatch Racing Circuit. The hotel offers a restaurant and a comfy bed for a good night's sleep. There is also free car park for delegates for the conference and guests. Participants would also have the opportunity of publishing their full papers in one of the Association's Medical Journals if they are of high quality and after going thruogh the double blinded peer review process.
